Yang Guofu pioneered the weight-based malatang model with his unique base broth recipe. The first directly operated store, “Yangji Malatang,” was opened in Harbin.

After establishing Northern China, Yang Guofu expanded into East and South China via Shanghai—marking its shift to a national brand.

Built an integrated Chengdu facility, standardizing supply and ensuring flavor consistency.

First Tokyo store opened with localized broth and operations.
